Commissioner Kevin Morrison, local elected officials to hold in-person Transportation Town Hall

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. – July 12, 2021 – Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison (District 15) will be joined by U.S. Representative Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-Schaumburg) and other local elected officials for an in-person town hall focused on regional infrastructure and public transportation on Thursday, July 22 at 6 p.m. at Hanover Park Village Hall in Room 214. 

Panelists will include Commissioner Morrison, Rep. Krishnamoorthi (attending virtually), Hanover Park Mayor and Metra Board Member Rodney Craig, Hoffman Estates Mayor and Pace Board Member Bill McLeod, and Arlington Heights Trustee and RTA Board Member Mary Beth Canty. 

“Expanding access to public transportation is one of my top priorities,” Commissioner Kevin Morrison said. “I encourage residents of the Northwest suburbs to join us for this important town hall to hear updates on local public transportation projects and Cook County’s plans to build more bike lanes, combat climate change, and improve economic benefits for our community.”
