DESCRIPTION:Come join Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison\, Cook County’s Department of Environment and Sustainability (DES)\, Poplar Creek Library\, and various organizations for a virtual resource fair on Friday\, August 28th. \nRegistration is FREE and can be done here. Registered attendees are eligible to win a smart thermostat. \nYou will learn how to be more sustainable at home\, specifically looking at ways to save money on your energy bills and reduce flooding at your home. And\, since we’re all home a bit more these days\, we’ll share some tips for how to maintain a compost pile. Below are the resources being presented so far.
