Cook County Commissioner Kevin B. Morrison hosts County Assessor Fritz Kaegi for Listening Tour stop 

Assessor Kaegi will be in Schaumburg April 6 to answer taxpayer questions  

SCHAUMBURG, Ill. –March 14, 2019—Cook County Commissioner Kevin B. Morrison will co-sponsor Cook County Assessor Fritz Kaegi’s Listening Tour event in Schaumburg on Saturday, April 6 at the Trickster Art Gallery. The countywide Listening Tour is a part of the Assessor’s commitment to transparency and is free and open to the public.  

A crucial part of making sure that the Cook County government works for everyone is providing opportunities for residents to hear from their elected officials and ask questions face to face,” said Commissioner Kevin Morrison. With the townships in my district being fully re-assessed in 2019, I’m grateful that Assessor Kaegi is coming to our community, ready and willing to answer questions and give constituents an update on how his administration is working to create a fair and transparent assessment. 

Throughout the Listening TourAssessor Kaegi will visit each district in the county at least once to present an update on the office’s plans for increased fairness, ethics and transparency as well as engage in a moderated “fireside chat” with a community leader and answer questions from attendeesHeidi Graham, President of the local chapter of the League of Women Voters, will moderate the Schaumburg event.
