Saturday, June 18th from 9 AM to 12 PM: Fishing Derby and Festival
IN-PERSON at Grove 25 in the Busse Woods Forest Preserve — Join me and representatives from several community groups and organizations as we celebrate another Busse Lake Fishing Derby! Registration is required for all anglers. All experience levels are welcome and for this weekend only there is no fishing license required. Prizes will be awarded for several categories. I can’t wait to see you in person!

Free and fun for the whole family. Prizes for winners of the Fishing Derby by age category. We’ll also have animal visitors from Brookfield Zoo, a tree climb, Rain Barrel raffles, bike checks, a nature activity, and a Taco Truck.
